This red wine with has good body and structure being made with only Montepulciano grapes.
It’s colour is deep ruby red, with slight purple hues. The bouquet is fragrant and fruity with memories of sweet cherry, sour cherry and plum. The pleasant hints are of spice, with notes of licorice. On the palate it is rich, ripe and roundly balanced with great body and persistence,
a hint of cherry or red fruit and pleasant spicy notes of licorice and chocolate. This wine is optimal with vegetable soups, pasta with meat sauce, red meat, stews and roasts, medium-aged cheeses and spicy sausages.
